So...two days after Scott deployed last time, Connor was born...on this deployment...two days later I am off to Maui with Connor and Auntie Bean : )

A little drama at the fair...Connor saw kids with "light sabers" and HAD to have one...I wasn't going to give in...but Scott was the one...but ...

ended up you had to play a game to "win" the light saber...so we let him play the game to win it which seemed better than buying one outright after the initial meltdown...after he calmed down and he turned on the charm to try to sweet talk me into it...here is he Connor working hard bc he is so desperate to win the light saber!!!

Fun times on the rides at the fair...

Connor was super excited for the roller coaster...front seat and all!

Hawaii State Fair...

Auntie Bean's arrival last week and lunch at Jimmy Buffet's Waikiki...Connor took our pic by the shark...it took a few to get our faces in it!!!

The zoo night ended with some books and being silly with Auntie Bean...

At the end of the night zoo tour...it was time to make S'mores...Connor has not experienced a s'more yet....he like roasting the marshmallow....but...

did not like getting marshmallow on his fingers!!!

Of all the animals in the zoo...what was the most exciting for the kids?! This random frog hopping around!

The Honolulu Zoo is in Waikiki...but still can see some pretty stars even downtown!

Blurry...but just so you get the idea that we were walking around the zoo in the dark!!! It was really cool!
