Afternoon on Christmas day...Granny had to encourage Amelia to open her last presents from Santa!

Notice Connor in the background on the chair playing with the new LeapPad from Mamaw and Papaw...we didn't think it through and should have let him open it before we called them on the webcam bc he just wanted to sit and play on the LeapPad and not be social! Lesson learned! |
The new LeapPad2 from Mamaw and Papaw! Connor is helping Amelia learn how to use it...we will download some more games and videos and they each have their own profile on the LeapPad. It can also take pictures and video...we have a lot to learn about it because it is more advanced than the older Leapster we had from a few years ago! Thanks Mamaw and Papaw! The kids love it!

| It's an iPod Touch! Connor called it an iPhone but not quite...but it can do everything the iPhone does except phone calls...so hoping this helps to conserve the battery life and beatings my iPhone takes regularly! Thanks Granny and Clyde! And Daddy was pretty sneaky and pre-loaded it with the new Angry Bird Star Wars...that was a big surprise and Connor was thrilled! He had never played the Star Wars Angry Birds game yet...so it was pretty exciting for him! Notice Amelia again...here's my great plan...between these two devices, the iPod Touch and the LeapPad, both kids will be happily entertained when needing entertainment! And sharing the devices goes from fun games like Angry birds to learning games and resources that are fun...but slightly more educational on the LeapPad! |

| The iPod Touch will be a controlled device...it has a password that only Scott and I know...so Connor does have to earn time on the Touch to play games, watch movies etc. If we didn't have limits...he'd never stop playing Angry Birds! |
