Connor decided he wanted to write a book tonight...the only word he asked for help with spelling was the word chapter. The rest is on his own. After he read us his story, he told me that he knew bader wasn't a word, but he didn't know how to spell worse ; )

Leo went wakeing (walking).  He saw Tim.  Tim was bader (worse) then normaly (normal).  He castid (cast) a two spells on Max and Dan.  Leo castid (cast) a spell on Tim.  "Ouch," Tim shoudid (shouted).  "Well, well, well," said Tim.  "Leo," Tim said, "oh no, oh no, oh no." 

"Ahhhhh!" said Leo loudly.  "Arrrrrrrrrr!" Tim said loudly.  Leo castid (cast) another spell on Tim.  Leo won the wor (war).  P.S. (The End)

Belt testing

Hopefully when we move again, the Tae Kwon Do forms that Connor has learned here will be more consistent with other Tae Kwon Do schools as we move...the program he did in Hawaii was completely different and Connor had to re-learn all of the forms.  He is enjoying the program here though because he gets to put on the sparring gear and fight! 

Still bundled up from soccer this morning...we had to go straight to belt testing after the soccer game!

Connor is thinking, "wait a minute, I have to break this board with my foot?"  They really didn't practice this in class...of course they practice kicks every time just not kicking and breaking a board!

Had to add layers ...it is freezing!

She had on tights under her jeans, plus extra socks bc the grass was wet...and then a onsie, long sleeve t-shirt, sweater...and had to add the windbreaker bc it was windy and cold...temp said it was 57 this morning...this is torture already and it's not even winter!

New tooth coming in on the bottom right...this explains why she wasn't herself on Thursday night and the teething tablets came to the rescue!  It is amazing how well those things work!  Saw the new tooth on Friday morning!

Tried to get a picture through the blinds...Amelia had a great dance class today! She participated more with the group and didn't get kicked out early! We are going to go back to dance class in January when she's a few months older and hopefully she will be even more excited and dance with the group more!

At least one of my kids likes my cooking...ok...so it's grilled cheese but still!  She doesn't "chop" me like Connor does!  The first time she said "delicious,"  I wasn't really sure what she said and when I realized that she did in fact say delicious...it was just funny!
