Boo!

I am so unorganized and I have great ideas, but I am always late or don't finish in time...so tonight, this was it...been trying to compile some Boo baskets for a while but I am just not good at this crafty type thing!  I had just put the baby to bed...and I was trying to quickly finish up the baskets, and I asked Scott where Connor was.  He had just put him to bed and turned out the light.  Well...I decided that boo'ing people wouldn't be as much fun if Connor wasn't in on it.  So, I went into his room...and he was so excited that I told him that he was going to get up and help me!   He even kept his pj's on bc they were dark...which was perfect for sneaking to people's doors!   And he had a BLAST!   It was sooooo funny to watch him hiding, tip-toeing and sneaking to the front doors...and then running as fast as he could after he rang the door bell! Wish I had some video bc it was sure fun to watch!

What is the "Boo" tradition?  We first heard of it in Alaska when our super fun neighbors started this in our neighborhood...see below:

You've Been BOOed!

You must be here because you have just been BOOed by the Phantom Ghost or want to start a BOO reaction in your neighborhood or at the work place. Sometimes also called "You've Been Ghosted".
It's simple really. Print a Color or Black & White "BOO" sheet and include it with a delicious treat. Leave it on someone's door step, ring the bell, and Run Run Run!
If you have been Boo'ed, cut out the ghost and place it on or near your door so you won't be Boo-ed again.

Before long you will have a neighborhood full of ghosts!

Halloween preview...I had this great idea to have a Halloween dress rehearsal for pics...but we left the house too late and it was getting dark...but still a few good ones...AND major camera troubles...with my Nikon in the shop, we have been using my old Canon SLR...well, even though it was on the charger all day long, the battery chose to die after just a few pics...we gave it a rest and it booted up for a few more but very frustrating...look forward to my camera being repaired and returned!!!

PAN!

Hook, Pan, Wendy and Tinkerbell...

Pretending to talk on the phone : )

Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

The inherited Koi pond...Scott and Connor are pretty into the fish...not me...Connor is super excited bc there were a bunch of new guppies this morning...

I can't tell you how many are in there...Connor can...and we got another one of the Brown's fish yesterday...he was regifted from a friend of theirs that didn't like the fish...and it is a hyper fish...he's not in this picture bc he's totally ADHD and too fast!  And he is strange looking too...he's a smaller Koi I guess...but he might be stressing out the other fish...we'll see how it goes...

The finished product....there is a pumpkin for each of us...Scott and Connor are the "mean" pumpkins...I am the happy pumpkin behind Amelia's cute one-toothed pumpkin! Hers is my favortie! And it so much more orange and vibrant than our 3 pumpkins...as you can see by the pic below!

The pumpkin carvers were outside working (Scott and Connor) and Amelia and I were working inside cooking dinner...and she was helping me select the perfect spices : )

Hmmm...what do we need?

Definitely the bay leaves she says!

Pumpkin patch! We weren't sure if we were going to make it this year...but we did! And it was fun as usual!

First time in the backpack carrier!   It just came in the mail this week so it was the first time trying it out and she loved it!  And Scott found it to be pretty comfy...it is frustrating for me that I can't use this or the soft front carriers anymore bc of my neck issues...doctor advised against it...said it was not the cause of my problems but could aggravate the problem or cause more strain...so at least Scott can be the carrier of the baby now!

Connor always gets a white pumpkin, not sure why, he just likes to be different I guess!

Daddy with his little pumpkins

Still happy after about an hour in there!

just a little slide and bounce time!

And he talked Daddy into letting him on the ride too...

Like her shirt says, cutest in the pumpkin patch : )

at the end of the pumpkin patch adventure and she loved the carrier...and when we took her out...she wasn't sweaty or anything...so it's really well ventilated apparently!

Connor going down!

Coaches had the shirts done...they spelled Murray wrong...Scott was trying not to let Connor see it...but he was looking at his reflection when he got out of the Jeep and he totally noticed it!  Hopefully we can get it fixed...
