Frau Els, Scott, Connor and the giraffe!

Frau Els and Connor in Bischberg, Germany

Frau Els was our former landlord when we lived in Bischberg 12 years ago. We stopped by her house to say hello...and she came out with presents for Connor...a giraffe and some chocolate! Connor had to sleep with the giraffe tonight bc he loves it so much!

Haircut at the PX in Bamberg, Germany...

his first haircut sitting by himself in the big boy chair! He usually sits on mom's lap...but not anymore! Big boy and he was perfect! The lady was really impressed with him and so was I! Never thought he'd sit still!

Nurnberg

it was dark outside but we are standing in front of a beautiful church in the Altstadt of Nurnberg

20 year reunion on Germany!

Us with Yancy, Mary, Nick and Zack.
Scott and Yancy could not make it to their 20 year reunion in Ada bc duty called in Europe!
Scott went to school in Ada, Oklahoma...and how crazy is it that we meet up with them in Germany!
We met in Nurnberg for dinner which was about halfway for each of us.
Connor loved the boys and they even took him to play in the kid's area at the restaurant!

Connor being goofy! He insisted I take his picture and he was harrassing me by saying cheese cheese cheese cheese!

Daddy and Connor in Nurnberg walking to meet the Wood family

in Oberhaid with the Krause family

Frau Krause, my German mother that welcomed me to Bamberg 12 years ago! It has been 10 years since we left Bamberg, and we are so happy to be back here for a visit!
Frau Krause prepared a Brotzeit for us on Tuesday night upon our arrival from the airport, and then a beautiful German dinner for us on Wednesday afternoon!
Herr Krause bought Connor some Nesquik cocoa powder because he thought that Connor would like it! So nice! And Connor does love it!
So Connor calls them Oma and Opa which is German for Grandma and Grandpa!
