Last hours in Paris we took a short trip into the city just for Connor to see the Eiffel Tower...he quite enjoyed it!
it was really hot and crowded...so we took the elevator to the 2nd floor...the wait to go up further was another 45min or longer...so we were happy with this...and then we hit the road for our 12 hour drive back to Madrid! We stopped about halfway...Connor was a great traveler and we had a really fun roadtrip....but he was sure excited to get back to his house and bed! And so were we! We went to Barcelona, Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Ventimiglia Italy, Disney and Paris...not bad for a 13 day European roadtrip in a mini-cooper!

Disney still...we had 3 nights in the cabin and 2 full days at Disney...
having a snack on the French Riviera beach just 500 meters from our apartment, we spent a day in the Italian Riviera too...
the first pics are the Italian Riviera which had some small sandy spots...we rented chairs and an umbrella for the day and just relaxed...we had a delicious Italian meal beachside at the restaurant that rents out the chairs...loved it!

note: French & Italian Riviera beaches are rocky! Bring swim or water shoes! Connor had them but we did not...very hard to walk on! Only the private beaches have sand...but we still enjoyed it! We liked the Italian side in Ventimiglia better bc it we found a nice little spot with less rock and some sand...and the waves were much calmer there! More pics to come...they are on Christine's camera!
this is the French Riviera that was just down the street from our apartment
