Connor's first official drawing...of course, an airplane! How cool! He described it to me...the tail, windows, wings, propellor!

She's still here! Christine was due to fly Aug 5...but she volunteered to be bumped and $1000 and 2 days later...she's still here!

Day 1 of being bumped for $500

Day 2 of being bumped for another $500

Enjoying some extra b-day presents that arrived from Kelly in NJ...

notice the big boy underpants...he's been doing really good the past few days...we only do pull ups when we go out in the car...but at home...he's doing really good using the potty : ) Hopefully the progress will continue!

video clip: little scooter...

video clip: happy birthday song to himself!

Birthday evening...getting pretty good at the scooter thing!

Last pic at Connor's little birthday party...cutie pies!

Presents and playing...

Connor got a very cool pilot costume from the Taylors...he wore the hat but wasn't quite ready to try it on...so Isla did! Super fun! And of course, new planes....always a hit!

Cake time...Connor was excited to eat Mickey's nose! It was a cracker coated in chocolate!

Birthday outfit from Carol Brown & Bobby!

Connor wanted clothes and a present...so we opened up a box from Carol Brown and boom...a birthday outfit! And it fits perfect! Connor also got a Mickey Mouse balloon (bc we wouldn't buy one at Disneyland!) and then a motorcycle to replace an old broken one...everthing was a hit!

Now Auntie Bean's present to Connor...an airplane that is meant to be taken apart and put together with a drill! Cool!

scootin along!

it will take some practice...he wanted to go faster but he's not quite there yet!

Happy Birthday Connor

Connor woke up in the WORST mood this morning...cranky, said no birthday, told us to take the presents back! He had a rough night's sleep and was up from 3-6am not crying, but just hanging out in his bed....so he was an unhappy camper.

But after being awake for about 30 minutes...he changed his mind about his birthday and was finally excited to open up presents!

First present from mom and dad (that Auntie Bean carried over in her suitcase:)
A Scooter!

Mickey mouse birthday cake...

Christine and I were going to make an airplane cake...but then, I found cute Mickey Mouse plates and napkins...and since our Disney Paris trip was Connor's big birthday celebration...we decided to try and make a Mickey Mouse cake! When Connor got his pic with Mickey last week...Mickey had on a yellow bow tie...so hence the bow tie!

So Happy Birthday Connor! Hopefully when he looks at the cake, he'll know that it's Mickey Mouse!
