It is Connor's 1/2 birthday today! He wanted to use some money in his piggy bank for some new prehistoric creatures...a tylosaurus and dunkleostues...and a yummy Cookie Corner cookie too!
We asked Connor if he wanted to go out for a special 1/2 birthday dinner...he said no. How about going out for ice cream or dessert? No. How about a special dinner at home? No input...food is just not his thing. He is not motivated by food in any way. He will even say no to birthday cake at parties. All he wanted to do was to go to the this pet store that sells all sorts of little plastic animals...all the way at the Windward Mall! This mall is the farthest mall from our house...closer to the Marine Corps Base. Since we do live on an island, far is a relative term. But after living here for a few years, I now complain about going all the way over there just like the locals...when really, it's only about a 35 minute drive without traffic.
So he bought his dino's...sorry, prehistoric creatures. Since it was his money that he was spending (minus the $10 reward/bonus we gave him for finding and returning $50 that he found inside our house!)...the least I could do was to transport our little guy to the store to do a little prehistoric shopping!
I talked him into the cookie because I really wanted one!

Pajama day at school! Connor was excited to wear his policeman pj's!
Apparently, Connor won the Pajama contest for kindergarten! Not sure exactly what the criteria was for this contest, but I guess for the coolest pajamas? They are pretty cool! He won a pencil...not just a regular pencil...a golden one!
We tried on flower girl dresses for Auntie Bean's wedding! This was just for size...they had only one style in an 18 month size...so we had fun playing a little dress up...she insisted on putting her crocs back on to walk around the store...she is too funny! The wedding is in June so she'll be 20 months old then...thinking this size will be just right! Still have to shop around for the perfect little dress!

Eating machine...the shirt says it all! This little one loves her food! And to date...the only thing she really does not like is cheese!
Granny and Clyde found this Eating Machine onsie at Gatorland : ) One of our favorite family fun places in Orlando!
Also testing out the new booster...not sure if it is a keeper yet...but she really likes the baby doll seat that attaches to it...Minnie Mouse was having fun too!
Pointing to the alligator...she loves the picture of the alligator in her room...so she seems to like this one too!
Minnie is done with her food too...so she's off for a walk!
Time for a ride!
I don't think I was supposed to post this one...but since Scott waved, so I took it as an "all clear" to take a picture of him taking Amelia for a test ride on my very pink bike!
She definitely needs a new helmet...this is Connor's from years back and it just won't do!
Not only was she being so cute just sitting and reading her book, feet crossed...she was doing sign language for "bird" with her right hand...as she sees the picture of the Hawaiian state bird, the Nene,
in this Aloha alphabet book!
Random pics from last week...just found them on my card which is why I really try to download pics right away or they are forgotten! But there are some pretty entertaining one's so glad I didn't delete the card without checking!
I think this is Auntie Bean's lei that we recycle each time she visits!!!
Amelia insisted upon wearing it!
Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar? Or Connor's lunchable as the case may be? Amelia stole the cookie from the lunchable! Oh yeah!
Who me? Couldn't be! There is oreo on her forehead! You had to hear Connor when she grabbed one of the two oreos! I was laughing so hard and he was laughing but wanted his cookie back...I did have a bag of mini-oreos to offer Connor as a settlement in this case!
Practicing golf across from our house...
I was cleaning out the car (shocker) while Connor practiced...he was really having fun! Glad we started the golf lessons again!
Dress up time...
Admiring herself again in the reflection!
A little Harry Potter drawing...
And some Harry Potter poses...he is Harry Potter you see! The wand is a drum stick...and the tie, well, this is Connor's favorite clip-on tie that he wears to bed sometimes. Why?
No clue but we just go with it!
