Glimpse of the professional pics we will eventually purchase. Miss Sarah said Amelia danced beautifully on the worlds stage. We were so proud of her out there! But this was not her year to recall and dance again. She expected her to "recall" which is the chance to dance again and "place". It did not happen. Miss Sarah was stunned that Amelia didn't recall. She danced 2 dances and did not get a chance to dance again. Miss Sarah was shocked that Amelia didn't recall. But she said it's very subjective with the judges. Miss Sarah herself didn't recall at worlds until she was 19 or 20 years old, she told Amelia this as we were trying to understand what happened. There were 117 dancers in her age group. She did not come in the top 30. We don't know where she placed, unless you recall to dance 1,2 or possibly 3 more dances, you don't receive a formal placement. It is VERY complicated. It was heartbreaking for Amelia. She is putting on a brave face and powering through. We are supporting the other 3 girls from her dance studio.
