My helper...Connor is really an amazing big brother. And with Scott being gone for this past month, he's really enjoying helping out even more. He loves reading her books before bedtime...and he will even sit and rock with her. She was trying to get comfy and put her head on his shoulder...and I ran to get my camera bc it was the cutest thing ever!
Ok...she looks HUGE here! And then Connor started laughing because she was tickling his neck...so then I had to take over to get her into bed and Connor was really upset that he didn't get to finish rocking her. But I had to explain to him that she was super sleepy. And I explained that it's hard to lift and put her down into the crib...it's even hard for me! She's now 23lbs 6 oz...I did look at Connor's medical records to see how much he weighed. At 16 months, Connor was 21.8 pounds...so she weighs 2 more pounds than he did at this age and man...she feels heavy! I will have to say, that Connor was always easy to tote around bc he felt so light!
So we didn't have any Irish food for dinner because spaghetti was just the easiest thing and it's Meli Moo's favorite...but we did make "pot of gold" cupcakes for dessert!

| So we had gold cupcake holders, a variety of colored sprinkles of the rainbow...and some green icing...we called them "pot of gold" cupcakes! Connor did it all...he mixed the batter, scooped the batter into the cups, mixed the icing till it was the shade of green that he liked....and then we iced and sprinkled together! |
As we were doing this...Amelia was at our feet saying, "cake! cake! cake!"
Parade pics...can't say it was the best parade we've ever been to but now we can say we went to the St. Patrick's Day parade in Waikiki!

| Connor caught an extra pair of beads for Amelia...does it matter that they say Bud Light on them? Funny how these beads totally made the parade for Connor! He was moaning that he was bored till he got beads and then some candy! |

I had quite the workout this morning trying to get pictures!
If only they were looking at me...there were smiles under there!
Connor was doing good...baby, not so much! Oh...and I was trying to bribe her with M&M's which is the greenish hue around her lips!
There's a tickle belly smile...and you can see her snaggletooth! It's sure coming in now...still no other teeth around it! We go to the pediatric dentist in April...I will be curious what he has to say about how her teeth are coming in...or rather, how they are not coming in!
And she's off...
She's trying to run past me, so of course she's smiling!

after a little melt down when I tried to redirect her to the interior sidewalk...instead of cooperating with me...she chose to go into the crazy and dangerous tree roots!
She's had a cold for 8 days now...so sure hoping tomorrow she wakes up without the runny nose and congestion!
