Inside Patisserie Jean …great place for coffee, treats and clean bathrooms…I am such a local now that I have been to Metz twice!

Best cream puffs and eclairs at this nice little cafe across from the Cathedral…we went their with Auntie Bean in the summer so now it's our "regular" place!   

The ice skating rink was only going to be open for 30 more minutes…but the kids really wanted to skate. They love it! Turns out…30 minutes is plenty! Scott was worn out!

We arrived while Scott was serving dinner…thought the kids would get a kick out of that!

Another goodbye to friends...but it's a good excuse to celebrate all awesome Army kids!

Connor was in Logan's class last year, and then he was on the wrestling team with both Logan and Dustin…and was on Dustin's soccer team this year.   Their dad worked really closely with Scott,  so we have really gotten to know their family this year.  They are staying in Germany and heading to Grafenwohr…so we'll see them when we head that way!
  

The Medevil festival was at out favorite wildlife park...so we saw a few animals on our way out!

We went to a small Chrismas market last night in Queidersbach…it was very small and a little disappointing but we went to this one bc it was only a 40 minute drive…we should have driven farther to Bernkasel-Kues but was worried it was getting to late for our Kinder…oh well. We ate Flammkuchen, pizza and potato pancakes!

Amelia trying some hot "kinder punch"…she wanted to like it and pretended to like it at first, but then shook her head and changed her mind!   I personally do not like Gluhwein but I really love the "kinder punch" which is targeted at the kids because it's there's no alcohol.
