Operation Kid Comfort...The Armed Services YMCA has volunteers that make quilts for children of deployed Soldiers...we got our quilt today and it's pretty amazing! There is no cost to the military family, Operation Kid Comfort is operated by donations and volunteers...when I asked about donations locally...they just asked for fabric...so we'll be donating some fabric so they can keep creating these great quilts!

Curly Sue's room...it's getting there...super happy with the curtains I found on Jcpenney.com! Granny's been working hard organizing all of Curly Sue's new clothes...and going through all of Connor's old clothes...going to donate all of Connor's old baby things since we have no room to store anything around here!
this bedding is called Lollipop Jungle...Connor created the masterpiece of animals all around the crib, every time something new comes in, he adds it to Curly Sue's crib!
all the diapers and baby toiletries from the baby showers...
I love these curtains! The glider is from Connor and have someone seeing if they can give the cushions a girl makeover!

the little sunshine's with their pictures on their head! So...here's the story. I bought this cool new video thing called the Flip...it was on clearance...should have known better. Mom and I tested it out the night before...and I did have some trouble with it getting it started, seemed to be battery related...but then we used it successfully at karate that night. So when mom went to use it, it was going crazy and blurry, wouldn't focus and the battery was again a problem even though it charged all night. I had slipped my little digital camera in her purse that morning...but didn't check the card...and the card was pretty full so only let her get a few pics and the short clip...what can ya do...! But Granny was there to see Connor perform and so it was nice for him to have her there on grandparent's day!
Grandparents Day at St. Michaels was on September 29. I could not stay for the performance because it was at the same time as the Memorial Service for the 2 Soldiers in our Brigade that were killed 3 weeks ago. I was sad that I couldn't be there to see Connor perform, but Granny was there and managed to get a video clip and photo with technical difficulties! Connor is in the back row, 4th kid in...
