sleepy girl...notice her feet in the sand...Connor hated sand when he was a baby and even up to he was 4 years old...need to get her trained early that sand is her friend!

thumb in her mouth...but she was getting too frustrated so I had to help her find her binky!  She couldn't get comfortable on the sand...so I picked her up and she passed out for at least an hour while Connor played and I scanned the horizon for whales!

Dillingham day after school today...

our mission was whales...but we didn't see any...but it was a great and relaxing way to spend the afternoon...since there's been some sort of daily personal drama each day I've been home...I need the ocean to help me relax!  Tricare drama today after my visit with the Orthopaedic surgeon...got another injection bc the carpel tunnel is in full force and next stop is a nerve conduction test prior to any surgery...surgery TBD...wish it would just go away...oh and bc I am essentially disabled (that's how I feel!)...I am actually considering getting a minivan bc of the automatic doors and trunk...I never thought I would ever ever ever get a minivan...it's not definite but it is a good possibility!

Beach day today...

and sadly I don't have one picture to post!  It was a beautiful day and Connor had his new boogie board too...Amelia napped, ate and smiled...she was a happy girl at the beach...but everything went wrong today...loaded up the Jeep and get ready to go...no can do...battery dead again after being jumped yesterday...have to reload kids and beach gear to the mini...so then leave post only to discover that I forgot my wallet...no big deal except that living on a military base, you need your ID to enter at all times....and then get home after haggling with the gate guards about my lack of ID...and go to unlock the house...no can do bc housekey was inside the house (hadn't put it back on key ring from bird sitters!)...I have a spare with the other birdsitter and a friend...but thankfully we walked around the back of the house and the back door was unlocked...so crisis and inconvenience were averted on the last one!  Calgon take me away!

Some pics at home last night after Connor went to bed...I was trying to keep Meli-moo awake to get back on schedule...she only lasted till 8:40pm...she slept till 4am...woke up singing for a while...started fussing around 5am so I fed her and she went back to sleep till about 7am...so not too bad for the jetlag on our 2nd night home...

Having fun in Auntie Bean's classroom! We loved meeting her kids! Her kids are ages 3 - 5 and all have either hearing aids or cochlear implants...when we explained ot Connor...he said, just like Daddy's hearing aid!
