We crashed the boys camping adventure for dinner : ) Amelia and I didn't get out there till about 5ish...long drive to Bellows for a quick turn around...but it was fun to see their set up and have some campfire hot dogs, popcorn and smores!!!

Amelia was so excited to see the ocean...even though the campsite was a pretty good walk from the beach...she totally knew which direction to go!   Scott said that Amelia wasn't quite dressed for camping...but she wore the outfit earlier today to a friends baby shower...and it was just too cute not to keep on her!  We didn't plan to swim bc we didn't get out there until late...and we were definitely not staying to sleep in a tent...camping is not my thing!  Although part of me would like to say I went camping on the beach...we'll see if I am brave enough to rough it in a tent before we move!   Connor had a great idea to bring the kids play tent/tunnel...he said that Amelia can sleep on that side and the tunnel would be connected to our tent so she can crawl though if she needs us!  Not a bad idea!
 Checking out the tent...
Eating marshmellows before dinner...a nice appetizer!  No open fires allowed...just the grill but it was still fun!
Her favorite place in the world...the beach!
She totally looks like she's doing a model pose here...I don't really think she stood still for very long...just looks like it!
I managed to keep her out of the water...love these pics with her hair blowing in the wind!!!
Fun tent time with brother...this was the only way we could keep her from the beach was to zip her up in the tent!
Connor being goofy...this made me laugh!
 A little jiffy pop...

 Connor chasing Amelia....
 Scott chasing Amelia...
Walking along the beach with daddy...
And this was it...Scott lost her and she went in!
I grabbed her pants and tutu...and we let her have fun : )

Connor was hanging out by this cool tree while we were with Amelia on the beach...

And she definitely got wet!  But we had a fun quick trip to Bellows!   I really don't like driving out there at all...takes about an hour but it is so pretty and a nice beach...but far too complicated a drive for me.  I much prefer sticking to North Shore!   I say this too bc I got totally lost coming home bc it was dark...yes, it is an island but a complicated one!  I need to stay on my side of the island!  I'm such a local now!  I used to laugh when locals would say, "I haven't been on that side of the island in 20 years!"  I could totally see me being that way if I lived here forever!

Connor got a blue stripe today! He had to do a "solo" of the basic moves and he did great!

So happy we found this new school...such a great program and they are so amazing with the kids.  Just wished I had found it sooner...but at least we can get a few more months of at this karate school...and hopefully wherever it is that we are moving will have a program that is comparable...now I know what to look for!

State quarters! This started about a week or so ago when Connor wanted to use money from his bank...so we dumped out a bunch of his change...and we started looking at the quarters!

So we put all of the state quarters that we found into a little bag and put them to the side!   From Connor's little bank alone...we found 30 of the states!  Pretty exciting!  We don't really collect much of anything (except junk if you ask Scott!!!)...but I decided this would be a fun activity for Connor and later Amelia.  So I went online shopping around for maps to put the quarters in...found 2 on Ebay that were being sold together.  So I bid and won...and now we are officially coin collectors!   We'll work on this gradually or whenever Connor wants to work on it.    Family fun though!   I went through all of Scott's money...he's accumulates tons of change every where we move...and has been talking about taking all of his loose change to one of those machines so he can turn it into dollars...but I had other ideas when I busted into his money jar!   We'll need two full sets so Amelia doesn't feel left out when she's older : )

And as a military family, this sure helps when you talk about places you will be moving too!  Although, Connor asked me how many states there were...I told him 50.   He said, no, not just in the United States but like the Phillipines too?   He talks about the Phillipines a lot which is from the Hawaiian influence probably at school.  So we need to get a globe now too so we can talk about all of the countries of the world!
